Meant to Be in Boston
Our story began in October 2022, just weeks after Melissa moved to Boston. We met at a Halloween party through mutual friends that I (Melissa) almost didn’t even go to, and it instantly felt meant to be. Two nights later, we had our first date—and basically never stopped hanging out.
What started as a chance encounter quickly became the love of a lifetime.
Fast Past to Forever
Our first trip together was Disney, April 2023. Pablo had been before, but never like this. This time, he got the full Hochadel Disney experience—think early mornings, well-planned ride routes and elite snacking strategy.
We joked that if we could make it through a Disney trip together, we could make it through anything. We didn’t just prove it—we kept coming back for more.
What we didn’t know then? A few short years later, we’d be getting married right here—full circle, in the most unexpected and perfect way.
Passport Stamped: Fiancé
The infamous engagement trip. I (Melissa) was so nervous about the flight, the language barrier, the unknown never having been to Europe. Little did I know, Pablo was nervous too… but for a whole different reason: getting an engagement ring through TSA without ruining the surprise.
On September 22nd, 2024, I (Pablo) got down on one knee in front of the Eiffel Tower, with a hidden photographer and she said yes! Afterward, we celebrated with a private ride around the city as the Tower sparkled. The next day we headed to Disneyland Paris to celebrate the engagement (very fitting).
Paris will always be magic. And now, it’s part of our forever.
